Connie van Rhyn has a BFA in Interior Design from Syracuse University and a master’s degree from Pratt Institute. She is a licensed designer, a LEED AP, Prosci Change Practitioner and a member of the NYC WE Hub, and she has attained her CoreNet SLCR.
Her most recent engagement has been consulting with WWE, Inc., on a number of projects, including its preparation to transition four separate locations to a 420,000SF HQ space in Stamford, CT. Prior to WWE, she was a VP of Global Facilities / Real Estate at AQR Capital and was the Director of Workplace Strategy and Sustainability at PepsiCo for more than 10 years, where she established and led WS globally; helped to achieve LEED certification across the portfolio, including LEED Platinum for the ~420,000SF HQ in Purchase NY; developed the Workplace KPIs and metrics (including sensor data); created governance procedures; and managed their world-renowned art collection.

Ben Finney has a unique background in both technology and real estate. His past includes time in software and technology, as well as project management of construction, full-service commercial real estate advising with a specialty in office, and workplace consulting. He is passionate about the data that comes from the workplace and how organizations can use it to empower and justify portfolio decisions.
Americas Facilities Program Manager, Facilities Operations
As Facilities Program Manager, Jose Loren oversees facilities operations programs and strategy across Facebook’s North American and South American regions. Loren primarily focuseson designing, implementing, measuring and refining strategic operational initiatives and projects throughout the Americas with the intention of improving overall performance through process standardization, increased operational efficiencies and resource modeling. He also works on broader global initiatives and represents the Americas region by providing region-specific approaches that will be accounted for in key global operational decisions.
Laura Patel is the Director of Strategic Accounts at Density, a workplace-analytics platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help businesses measure how their spaces are used and to automate building and facilities functions. A passionate real estate strategist, Patel works with Fortune 1000 companies to help them save money by optimizing their portfolios and improving employee experience.
A thought leader on the power of AI tools in real estate and PropTech, Patel has spoken at nearly two dozen global exhibitions and conferences, including The World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of New Champions (Dalian, China) and, most recently, Fordham University's "PropTech 2020: Modernizing Real Estate Operations and Management." An active member of the New York real estate community, she serves as Vice-Chair for CoreNet New York’s Programming and Outreach Committee and on Urban Land Institute’s Technology and Innovation Council.
