Please join IFMA NYC and CoreNet Global NYC for the second webinar in our joint series! With Local Law 97 becoming a reality for landlords and tenants, we will discuss what tenants can do to make their spaces more energy efficient now and into the future. We’ll talk to a tenant and  an engineer about their plans for energy efficiency and with a landlord and a tenant attorney about how lease language can support or hinder cooperation.

Jessica Bogdan is a business development manager for Allsteel and Gunlocke in the New York Metro area. She is responsible for developing mindshare with the A&D, end-user and commercial real estate community here in New York City. Jessica has a BFA from Syracuse University and trained and practiced as a commercial interior designer for 10 years before moving to interior construction sales.

Her professional memberships include serving on the IFMA NYC Chapter Board, serving as Chair of its Sustainability Committee, serving as an IIDA NYC Chapter Sustainability Committee member, serving as a Workplace Evolutionaries NYC steering committee member and also a member of the Urban Green Council.


Benjamin Cullum CBCP, LEED AP BD+C
Sustainability Analyst, Syska Hennessy 

Ben Cullum joined the Syska New York office in 2019 and is an experienced Sustainability Analyst with a demonstrated history of working on commercial, residential and mixed-use projects. He is highly skilled in Project Management, LEED, NYC Energy Code, Building Commissioning, and Energy Modeling. Ben is also well versed in OSHA General Industry and Construction, NFPA, NIOSH and ANSI standards. He holds a Bachelor of Science in environmental biology from SUNY Environmental Science & Forestry College, the Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), LEED Accredited Professional, and BD+C accreditations.

During her 30-year career, Christine has provided program and project consulting on complex global real estate projects. During this time, she has been able to deliver value, develop and implement business innovations and create strategic initiatives. In addition, she continues to provide business-critical solutions that have improved speed to market, flexibility and planning capabilities supporting global real estate portfolios.

Christine has spent her career contributing to shaping the New York City real estate environment. She offers expertise in owner/tenant engagement strategies, risk mitigation preparedness, as well as smart-building insights, measuring and monitoring energy, air quality and occupancy.

With a focus on PropTech, Christine looks forward to a future in  commercial real estate that leverages data and analytics to develop a healthier and more energy-efficient work environment.

Dana Schneider
Senior Vice President, Director of Energy and Sustainability, Empire State Realty Trust 

Dana is responsible for defining, leading and executing a comprehensive program for all company and property-level energy and sustainability initiatives. She is also responsible for industry-leading best practices and for coordinating and developing the company's ESG and wellness programs and reporting.

Dana focuses heavily on analyzing and implementing actionable measures that drive energy efficiency at the whole-building, systems and tenant levels, including proactive planning for LL97 and 80X50. She focuses on measurable, actionable impacts in energy, water, waste and indoor environmental quality to drive ROI and healthy buildings.

Prior to this Dana held the position of Managing Director for the Americas in Energy and Sustainability Projects for almost 18 years at JLL. She has been a leader and champion of energy-efficiency technologies for a generation. Her standing in the New York City real estate community is so respected that she sits on the Mayor’s Offices task force in developing the Climate Mobilization Act. Empire State Realty Trust is the only landlord on this prestigious council. Dana is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Adam Storolow,JD
Enviornmental Attorney, Sive, Paget, & Riesel, P.C.

Adam is an experienced litigator specializing in environmental, land use, regulatory and municipal law. He represents private parties, municipalities and government agencies in a wide range of issues, including the environmental review and permitting of development projects under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA); compliance and resolution of environmental enforcement matters before federal, state, and local agencies; zoning challenges; redevelopment of brownfield properties; and site remediation. His work on Superfund cases includes the representation of a multi-national corporation at a complex, contaminated sediment site and the representation of a Native-American nation as trustee for natural-resource damages claims.

As a founding Board member of the newly formed NYC Climate Action Alliance, Adam is committed to finding environmental solutions that help the city achieve its goal of reducing greenhouse-gas emissions by 80 percent and offsetting remaining emissions to achieve a carbon-neutral NYC by 2050.

Prior to joining Sive, Paget & Riesel in 2011, Adam served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Environmental Law Division of the New York City Law Department, where he defended the City’s initiative to “green” its yellow taxi fleet against claims of preemption under the Clean Air Act; brought litigation to defend the City’s watershed; and defended City infrastructure projects in cases involving SEQRA and ULURP review, the use of City parkland and eminent domain. Before attending law school, Adam served as the statewide volunteer coordinator and aide to then-U.S. Senator Barack Obama and as a communications officer in the United States Army Signal Corps.
